Earthquake

Went out for a walk and spotted another house teetering on the edge of a slip and the track I walk on is rooted by slips. More rain on its way too.
Neighbour is a firefighter and he looked knackered when I caught up with him tonight, he works over in the hutt and the local ferals had been chucking rubbish over the bank into the creek behind their houses which caused a blockage and flooded their yards.

More buildings closed and the roads out to the hutt are still pretty fucked.
I think more stuff is cropping up as there is a more detailed sweep of buildings, or ones that had some minor indicators of damage. Our building manager is waiting on lift engineers and I'd guess that'll be an issue city-wide, let alone structural engineers.
More rain coming too and the grounds are moist as an otters pocket - so expecting more flooding and slips. Hope those places you've seen come through ok Jegga. Would be shit to watch it slip away bit by bit.

he really is a tool, how he has managed to get so many lambs to follow him AND give him alot of money is beyond me.
Mind you, some of these religious communities do seem to think God is the only one they answer to and even the laws dont really apply to them.

He was on Radio Live today and a mate of mine shared the link on his FB page so having a listen. Three minutes in and Willie Jackson mentioned he ( Jackson ) is getting lots of messages from Gay people saying they're outraged. Jackson has asked BT if he owes them an apology......no, because the media beat everything up apparently.
Right.

The petition should be to remove tax exemption from all churches.

@No-Quarter problem is there are some Churches that do genuine work and deserve the tax breaks, however some, like Destiny and a couple of others heavily involved in Businesses seem to use thier church status to avoid paying taxes like other normal businesses

Yeah, most churches live on the bones of their ass and still have good people who do good work in the community. I have no problem with them.
