he really is a tool, how he has managed to get so many lambs to follow him AND give him alot of money is beyond me.
Mind you, some of these religious communities do seem to think God is the only one they answer to and even the laws dont really apply to them.

He was on Radio Live today and a mate of mine shared the link on his FB page so having a listen. Three minutes in and Willie Jackson mentioned he ( Jackson ) is getting lots of messages from Gay people saying they're outraged. Jackson has asked BT if he owes them an apology......no, because the media beat everything up apparently.
Right.

The petition should be to remove tax exemption from all churches.
-
@No-Quarter problem is there are some Churches that do genuine work and deserve the tax breaks, however some, like Destiny and a couple of others heavily involved in Businesses seem to use thier church status to avoid paying taxes like other normal businesses

Yeah, most churches live on the bones of their ass and still have good people who do good work in the community. I have no problem with them.
Brian fuckstick Tamaki can go get rooted by a mutant robot. Everything about him is revolting. His self-given Bishop title. The houses and cars and lavish overseas trips. He is a fucking fluffybunny of a person who does deserve to rot in hell.
-
@taniwharugby Nah, I'd prefer more spikes, barbed wire and random acid sprays.
-
I would happily see self-anointed Bishop Brian Tamaki lose tax-free charity status.
I would be very unhappy to see some other Churches that I know of - who do a huge amount of (almost all non-evangelising, if that bothers you) social work in poor communities and live on the proverbial bones of their backsides - lose their tax-free charity status.
As usual, the trick is where to draw the dividing line...
-
@Mokey that was the best I could do without turning the safe search mode off...

Surely the best way would be to set an assessment level of income to social expenditure and a reasonable ratio of expenses.

Tamaki is a charlatan of the highest order. Sadly these types of swindlers seem to be doing a good job of attracting followers of late
He's probably got company, but I can't think of a bigger jerk to have come from TA. There is no way that church deserves tax-free status.
