    Ireland were awesome! Just sensational.

For us - gee there was some shit out there. Starting halves were rubbish. Perenara was excellent. Scott Barrett was excellent.

Moala is ok but his passing isnt up to it - plus hes injury prone.

Julian Savea for all his attributes has a very limited game.

Ireland were awesome though - congrats Irish fans!

Except why did they start Smith when Perenara had played superbly in the previous two tests

For me poor selections (A Smith and Kaino at lock) and dumb play by Moody with his yellow cost the ABs this test

But well done Ireland. They destroyed the ABs in the first half

Because Smith is the best halfback in the world. You're right though, our discipline and lack of urgency by everyone in the first half cost us the game. Hard to believe that we did not learn anything from Dublin in 2013.

I was hoping we could hold out not losing to Ireland for another 2 weeks, as the Trump initiated nuclear war would have obliterated Western Europe by then

Isn't Hilary the war mongerer? Trump is Team Russia. I'm so confused - I need to go check the thread to see what's what.

The only consolation I have is that BOD wasn't part of this...

I'm trying to remember the last time a team scored 5 tries against the ABs

IMO the single biggest mistake was not trusting Barrett to start. He was fine when he came on! Playing 2 non-jumping locks when Ireland have Toner is just poor.

Also BB was not flash under pressure, and Smith I think might have for the moment slipped behind Perenara.

Moody had a mare, and ALB would have much better on the bench.

Also one flying polynesian on the wings, not 2.

A humbling defeat, Ireland were really superb for much of the match, simple game-plan executed to perfection.

    Dublin should be a cracker!

So with both Crotty and Moala out, I guess the selectors will call up Tamanivalu? Buckman played better for the Baabaas but Tamanivalu is already capped.

Classy from Hansen again, take notes on how to handle a disappointing loss Chieka.

Don't tune in to any non NZ tv station or surf any other website apart from this one till we hopefully redeem ourselves in Dublin. It feels like we have just been knocked out of a world cup.

Happy for the Irish, they've been waiting for this moment such a long time and where so close a few years ago!

We did only have one. 😉 (I assume that Naholo is Melanesian Fijian and not Rotuman).

And we've been getting by with the combo of Dagg and Savea this year.

Nitpicking to soften the blow. 🙂

Immediately from an English "friend" on Facebook:

"Also, seeing as we pumped Ireland in the 6N, this makes us default world champions, right?"

Enough people agreeing with him to confirm he wasn't just on the wind up....

The BBC, Sky, Telegraph, Guardian can all go fuck themselves if they think they're going to dine out on that victory.

Irish Times, Irish Independent, RTE, 42.ie go knock yourselves out.

    I'm pissed that I didn't make the 1-5 margin though. 😀

    This.

Don't whinge about ifs, buts, maybes and the ref. Take it on the chin, congratulate the opposition, move on and watch the tapes.

Very surprised that they hardly used PT as a lineout option, when he was our only recognised lock.
