Reacher Series 3.
Much darker and with more complex characters. First 2 episodes way better than series 2.
I just finished it, thought it was pretty shit actually compared to the other two seasons. Found myself looking at my phone more often than I do with shows.
I'm increasingly struggling to suspend my disbelief - for example, Reacher has a snipers rifle with scope and night vision and instead runs down to the fight with a fucking handgun. Also got so sick of the whining about Taaaaresa, that when she wasn't revealed to be a stone cold 10 I didn't give a shit about her.
Yeah it faded a lot. Take your point there
Actually didn't have a problem with suspending disbelief - it's pretty popcorn stuff after all. The final fight-t-death scene with the big motherf*ckr was so bad it veered into satire -
2 eps into The Last of Us, fuck Ellie is annoying

Territory.
Stunning locations but a bit of a cheap Aussie version of Yellowstone with even more unlikeable characters.
Can see why they canned it after one season. Probably going to bail after the second episode
I found it to be a better more realistic version of Yellowstone.

Two episodes in.....
If a person is a raging alcoholic it would take way more than a couple or three whiskys to get fall over drunk like he ( Graham ) did. He's hopeless. No wonder the old boy took to him with his belt.
Emily caught that young fella snooping round the safe and pretty much did nothing ? what the ?
Full of cliched, unlikable arsehole characters like I said ( although to be fair it wouldn't be much of a show if they were all nice )

I was only making a comparison with Yellowstone, not commenting on it's quality in and of itself.

Fair enough although Iām definitely an expert on Cattle farms thanks to watching them so far

Anyone tried Eternaut?
Going to give it a whirl today
Pretty enjoyable so far, acting seems good and probably pretty accurate as to how humans behave. I am undecided on the bugs though, but I guess that is no more of a stretch than fungi infected humans or zombies.

Slow Horses has got me hooked at the moment. Four series to date and managed to get through three of them on the weekend
I re-subscribed to Apple TV+ recently and watched S3 and 4 in quick time. I'm about to ditch Netflix after the price increase.

. I'm about to ditch Netflix after the price increase.I want to do the same. I've had enough of them axing shows I like, offering dead shit shows in their place and then spamming the screen with games.
Problem is Mrs Antipodean likes Netflix. Calls it her brain off mode.

Was gonna stockpile the last of us and watch it with the girl on a rainy weekend. Sounds to me like it's turning out exactly as I feared it would. Will still watch and decide for myself though.
First season had some outstanding action sequences but yeah as @voodoo says we as viewers were invested in the characters. DIsappointing to hear its not that good.
Ellie always had massive annoyance factor, I'm no prude but a teenager with a mouth like that was always pretty irritating.
TV shows these days are pretty screwed. Either they don't get renewed and we wonder what happens or they have subsequent seasons that aren't as good. VERY rare that a show is compelling from start to finish.
