Well I enjoyed that game regardless of result. Canes probably blew it, but some went better than I thought. Harkin regardless of his brain explosion went a bit better than I thought he would, thought Gallagher went well when he came on.
I actually liked the reffing of the breakdown, he just seemed to let everything go, and it was chaos, which I enjoy (probably from when I played?).
All in all 2 of the happest teams after this result, Brumbies and Chiefs, they get to play a couple of teams that will be a bit extra tired next week, and neither of them made inroads in their spots on ladder last night. -

I thought it looked like that too, but pretty sure the ref said it was chacked.

I can only assume he thought it was a faster player than Nic White. Even then, attempting an awkward pass like that when he had an unmarked wing outside him was bizarre.

Passing was very noticeably laboured for a 10, but like you say, probably no worse than Hohepa. Worth persisting with.

Ruben Love is not a 10. Hopefully Godfrey is back soon.

@Biorealism My first thought watching it live was he tried to be too cute improving the angle for a conversion and just threw a horrible pass.
