Crusaders v Blues

I'm surprised the Blues got this close with Christie and no scrum in this weather against some hometown refereeing.
That speaks volumes about the Crusaders.

@akan004 the only upside is someone else will have an opportunity to take the 13 jersey
For Blues
Yet to be seen if Razor will pick someone else
-
@sparky I would trade Reiko in the All Blacks and the Blues @KiwiMurph

@sparky I would trade Reiko in the All Blacks for AJ Lam
100% based on Super form the last couple of years, Ioane should be no where near the ABs.

Players who stood out to me
Five from Saders and Four from Blues come to mind
Lio Willie
Havili
Tamaiti
Newell
ScooterLam
Beehre
Sotutu
ZarnSullivan? That I don't see
-
@Canes4life we are quick to put the boot into certain players but the lack of improvement from a player thats played close to 70 internationals is alarming
You just can’t make excuses for Reiko anymore unless he goes back to the wing -
Crusaders did enough for the W, but Blues their own worst enemies

@Gunner And by Reiko Ioane being shit.
He doesn't get the opportunity to be shit in that situation if BB isn't a fucking moron.
Yeah, he tracked back to the ruck, then picked up the ball that slid sideways out of the ruck, then it slipped while he was passing. (I missed what happened initially so rewound it to see thinking he just dropped it cold).

Was money under the high ball - I guess I'm factoring in he's played fuck all rugby in the last 12 months

ZarnIn all honesty I didn't know he was playing until he had a lineout ball stolen off him.
But I wasn't watching intently in the first half so maybe he was on fire then.

The botched break early in the match from Rieko was really disappointing from him. His head was in the wrong space all match, so quite a poetic way to end.
Newell was a real mixed bag I thougtht, but trumps when it counted.
Lio Willie Havili and Tamaiti looked v good tonight.
Sotutu repeating his Counties reverse passing, played well second half. AJ Lam very good too. -

His defenders beaten stats might look promising too.
