Ball skills have let NZ down so far.

    And speed.

What's with NZ rugby and past it players being given chance after chance

    It's a plague.

Yep. Watching Molia and Collier get caught easily from behind highlighted that.

Generally the defence was really good but NZ had chances to score a second try to seal the game but weren't good enough because they lack speed when the ball goes wide.

The BF7s do win their QF beating hosts Canada 34-12. Their prize is a SF against Aust (10:36 am NZT).

Another pathetic performance from the AB7s team losing to GB 31-10 in the 5th/6th playoff game. So many basic errors and Ng Shiu and Knewstubb shat the bed on defence.

    From the report I read

In the men's competition play-off for fifth, Great Britain thumped the All Blacks Sevens 31-10.

New Zealand's sixth placing in Vancouver follows their ninth place finish in Perth.

How does cama still have a job?

A 41-7 win in the final.

    Still undefeated at BC Place.

The Hong Kong 10s is also taking place. I saw on the Chiefs SM that a number of their WTG players are in the Shogun team. It's stacked with NZ players.

Just watching some HK 7s in the background whilst wondering what I can put off till Monday. Fiji beating USA who look comically bad but the score is only 26 - 19

Nothing better than a commentator whose only skill is describing what you've just seen with your own eyes.

She's ably matched by the immensely irritating American. Between them and WR, 7s should be dead by next year in English speaking countries.

The BF7s looked good against China.

The AB7s had a good 1st half but so dumb not to just kick the ball out on HT leading 21-0. But no, kick for touch, lose the lineout and Aust eventually scores. A fairly average 2nd half where Aust butchered two tries with forward passes. In general the scrambling defence was good but we still have the same problems.
