Trundling around in 15th/16th in a car quick enough to be in the top ten is simply not good enough.
LL said it himself, he does not have a lot of time.
Suzuka will decide his fate. -

Suzuka will decide his fate.Where have you been? That car is a dog, Max said as much in interviews this weekend. RB did significant work to LLs chassis apparently prior to the race. That's why he started from pit lane. An admission that they need to give him a better package perhaps? There is something wrong with that car when Lawson can't even catch Hadjar in the junior bulls car, and yet in testing last season Max and Liam were only separated by a tenth, same car same setup same day.
Max says the car is slower than McLaren, Ferrari and MB. RB have estimated they will be able to close the gap with McLaren after 3-5 races this season. They are a mess

Everyone has Lando winning the championship, I’m backing Oscar. He looks cool, calm and collected and rarely makes mistakes.
I think they'll cannibalise each other through their competitiveness. Assuming they don't punt each other off the track the team will rack up the points.
Questions need to be asked at Ferrari how a car with a damaged end plate is faster than an undamaged one.

Lawson problem looks in the head. After fresh tyres he should have finished 12-13th. He didn’t.
I think he will be back in RB either before or after Suzuka.
Confident he will stick around in f1, but I don’t think he was ready to be in the top team.
It was always going to be a big jump. If he gets swapped out it might be good for his confidence. Hopefully he keeps a seat

@canefan the car is still fast enough to be in the top ten...
... in the hands of one of the GOATs of F1.

It's literally impossible to argue it's not fast enough to be in the top ten.

Lawson is definitely doing it tough. Suzuka will be a big chance for him, on a track he is very familiar with

The elephant in the room is Russell in the Merc out pointing Hamilton in the Ferrari. Has he blundered in swapping teams or is he simply on the decline?

Ferrari offered Lewis Hamilton £41 million a year to switch. No one else was going to offer a 40 year driver that much. It will be a nice little earner before he retires in three or four years time.

Hamilton disqualified.

He's just changed teams. He seems to be having teething issues with the car. Give him some time. I know it's not a GP, but he did win a sprint race already

With the disqualification LL up to 12th, at this rate LL will endup winning.
Rumors already that they are swapping him with Yuki before Japan, which might actually be a good thing for Liam. -

Doesn't sound all too happy with his race engineer either.
Leclerc having a lighter car might explain the extra pace.
