    It's a bit harsh when a lot of those are from the same country, not like Ireland

    True, it does count Englishmen who couldn't make it in their own country like Jim Hamilton, Simon Danielli and Ryan Wilson as older examples.....

    but the two guys in the photo are about as Scottish as biltong and taro.

    And I disagree with that, he's got a Scottish granny - he's not like a project player.

    Sharrat has called in Anscombe, Evans, and Llewellyn - and ditched Howley. Good start for the interim Wales coach

    The guy has done an incredible job and getting under the skin of opposition. Irish seem to love him, but he doesn't have many fans who aren't paddies.

    He is playing some pretty good rugby at the moment though.

    @MajorRage

    Yeah. Fairly easy to respect the guy, a bit more difficult to like him. We all have those players though that we love because they are our shithouses, knowing that if they played for another team we'd hate them.

    Efficient would be a good description.

    In all honesty if he had stayed in NZ, can we really see where is pathway to the ABs would have been? He was there or thereabouts, but nit a shoe in, and coaches tended to have blinkers on for others.

    Same with JGP. Was he outstanding enough to gain a nod?

    Both undroppable from the best (or second best) in the world, but would they have made the ABs?

    @booboo yeah can't see it, Lowe plays the game that's asked of Jordan and JGP's style wouldn't be a fit at all (Christie is a very poor man's version).

    I think Lowe would have been a decent AB if given a shot, you know if given the George what's-his-names shot. He was in pretty good form for the Chiefs for a number of years, and we could do with his huge boot (which appears more controllable than most in NZ).

    JGP became a much better player overseas. Not sure if the NH game suited him or he just needed time to mature?

    O'Aki left too soon to know whether he could have been an AB (despite the anti Sa'ili crowd on here making out O'Aki was unfairly treated because Sa'ili got capped). He also left a finesse player and became a tank.

    Could be a bit of a "dead" and predictable 6N weekend with the stronger teams up against the weaker ones.

    Am picking England Scotland as the one to watch. Some of their battles in the last few years have been great to watch
