IMO season two is better than season one.
Yeah I just finished this, was better than S1.
for sure I have a lot of questions now about the ending!

I'm looking forward to watching the last ep tonight but so far I'm the opposite of you two, I though S1 was much better.
-
@Nepia I enjoyed s1 but feel s2 had more going on.
@bayimports Oh yea, the ending...

@MN5 yeah very watchable. But fucking angering.
It’s just a TV show, settle down
It's a documentary.

Have started watching Apple Cider Vinegar……I was keener on American Primeval but the girl won the toss and we have to watch that first.
Surprisingly decent so far
I admire this young lady's entrepreneurial skills. She identified a market of imbeciles and pandered to their ignorance, making herself wealthy.

If the Milli character is real, then it creates an interesting conundrum - I tend to think the one with cancer that's doing the same thing knowing it doesn't work, is worse.

@Kiwiwomble said in TV Serieseseses:
@Bones mrs womble did some research, i think she said the one that actually has cancer actually believed juice and meditation worked...
Despite all evidence including her own body proving otherwise? Prolly more like said she believed it did and hoped it did.

I loved the realism. Especially when people survived this tsunami while trapped in a plane...
-
American Primeval
- Enjoyed the landscapes
- Enjoyed the realistic portrayals of that era/period
- Accepted the unrealistic portrayals of that era/period
- Fucking annoyed by that beeatch.
- Somebody: "Don't do this". Her: "does this". Situation: fucked. Somebody: Solves it, with great danger and harm to themselves.
- Nek minnut: Somebody: "Don't do this". Her: "does this". Situation: fucked. Somebody: Solves it, with great danger and harm to themselves.
- Nek minnut: Somebody: "Don't do this". Her: "does this". Situation: She gets... well... Somebody-Else: Solves it.
- Constant references to "I only care about my son, can't care about anything else" - but absolute revulsion for anybody else taking the same stance
- I understand the character, I just find it irritating. Constantly.
- And Then... she has the fucking gorm to throw heavy-handed hints as to "how about... you know... you and me... " - and insulted at rejection. Just - what a gormless useless bitch. I'm still watching final episode ... don't know if it's going to be sickly or sour ending yet)
- (I don't consider the previous as a spoiler - as it was obviously going to happen from E01)
Finished it now. Such a bullshit show, but kinda fun. Kid was a bit of a prick too now that I think about it. Hope they don't manufacture a S02.

Reacher Series 3.
Much darker and with more complex characters. First 2 episodes way better than series 2.

For All Mankind
This is one show where I keep wanting to watch it, but when it gets to the time of day when I am ready to watch TV... I'm wanting to watch dumb shit. I'm, like, you know, just... like, you know? wanting the easy shit to watch.
But once in a while, I'll start on something like-proper - and I remember what it's like to not be dumb.
Season 4 - I avoided for ages, because... reasons, like, you know?
Finally watch it - reminded of how good it is. Many different dimensions as to why... but a few points:Real World:
- The general idea of: How sweet could it have been if NASA hadn't rested on their laurels. Probably overdone, but....
Plot:
- If Russia is the main source of resource X - why did they bother with helping the collection of Asteroid Y chock-fill with resource X? I was constantly waiting for the reveal that they were sabotaging that entire thing from the start. But no - stupid ruskies.
- The character who used to be the "main guy" - switching between protagonist and antagonist and back again, and again... supporting/disliking him from episode to episode. Yeah... realistic to some extent, but in other ways... nah.
