@Billy-Tell it didn't get 17 upvotes in isolation, it got those upvotes because a number of posters have heard similar things. Even people not in those circles can see from the outside there is some very clear bias against certain players, and a real lack of any building of depth which includes pining for overseas players which wouldn't help anyway, but if it did help it would be short term gain for a lot of long term pain. NZR were so stupid to sign Razor for four bloody years, why wouldn't they do 2 years and then review. Idiotic.
Every coach has his admirers and detractors. And every coach has his player favourites. But if you’re going post that he didn’t pick a player because he “hates” him that comes across as mindless gossip unless you’ve a YouTube video of him saying “I hate that player”. Not to mention saying that the coach himself is on some sort of vanity project.
Just checking - do you have any thoughts on how a sub-par player like Reece continued to get selected despite multiple costly poor performances, beating up women, and awaiting sentencing for the latest psycho thing he's done? But Super player of the year Sotutu gets snubbed with vague references to body language and "both sides of the ball"? That all sit OK with you? Nothing to see here?
I’ve already posted a couple of weeks back that Reece should never play for the ABs again. I’m bitterly disappointed that you clearly don’t read all my posts

@African-Monkey to be fair, he has been pretty good in black prior to most of his play in 2024, whether he should have been there in the 1st place is another story....
It was more in reference to his AB form this year.

To be fair, after reading the details of Sevu's first "incident" - and reading between the lines of the witness reports - I had some sympathy. It seemed quite possibly an innocuous incident, but branded with "domestic violence" and therefore pitchforks out.
But a second incident... not sure I can be bothered reading the details of this one, but one way or the other, he hasn't learned lessons.
Plus he's slower than me, so get him out of the All Blacks anyway. -

Do you hear that? Through the morning mist, across the lake, come the whispered words ... "Custodians Of The Game...."
What’s Rocky Elsom been up to lately ?
I'd ask him but he's changed burner phones.

But Rieko and Akira are the dick heads of NZR, right?
I'm glad someone said it

It's telling you're a shit player when even the Cantabs aren't circling the wagons for him.
Can't handle his piss. We all played with a bunch like him (most of the real crumbs are backs too). It's funny to me that just being better at footy doesn't weed them out.
I do think it's delightfully naive that we all still think ABs on general aren't just shithead footballers that most of us played with, just better

I mean we all know why he has been a lock in Razor's AB side despite awaiting sentencing. The All Blacks are a clown show right now.
"but he cares" and he loves his peppermint tea.
High performance environment my arse.
We are an un-meritocratic rabble from the top down.
