@Kiwiwomble I don't doubt that for some, but not all.
He certainly hasn't been at his YouTube reel best this year.

Georgia’s Niniashvili is the fullback AB fans wish Will Jordan would be.
Check out the try he just created against Italy. Wow!
Jordan is not the answer at 15 for me. Right wing, he is elite. So premier NZ back 3 is 11. Clarke 14. Jordan 15. TBD
2025 is the year to find a fullback!
Ruben Love is an obvious choice for me when fit.
Agree that Jordan needs to go back to the wing.
I think it is fair to give Jordan more time at fullback next year as he came into the AB season undercooked after missing super rugby.
But I do agree, at this stage it seems he serves the team better at 14 at the moment.
I would like to see Rueben Love get a run at fullback.

10 new players, but Sititi is the only one in the starting XV and even then being played out of position to favour the old war horses.
The reluctance to blood new players this year has left me baffled.
We have been told for a while now that super rugby isn’t getting players ready
For test rugby. Is supporters have accepted that as true. However the debutants this year have done very well
In international rugby so we should learn the lesson that form
Players from super rugby should, by and large, do well when they take the step up to international rugby. We have the talent in NZ to build a high quality AB squad over the next 12-24 months

Hopefully he can reach the same heights of his spectacular play in the RWC final.

Reposting this to ask the question again, how the fuck is Reece in the squad, he is absolute dog-shit. Look at how slow he is here:
I’ve always found that slipping in a swear word gives a post more gravitas. Fucking good post Tim.

@Tim ALB was much faster. Looks like we've got our Kahui for 27.
He wishes.
Kahui was a terrific player, crikey I miss him. If Conrad Smith didn’t exist and he’d avoided injury he’d have got over 100 caps.

Could've been as great a player as Blackadder

Fihaki will eclipse them both, in the finest tradition of AB 15s such as Shane Philpott and Ben Blair

@canefan Would his departure likely coincide with Richie Mounga's return to New Zealand? What is actually happening, is he coming back late next year or in 2026?
RM? I don't believe anything has been confirmed. But Razor has made no secret of the fact he would love him back. IIRC he is contracted until end of 2025

God I wish we still had players of Michael Lynagh’s composure.
“ I’d taken over the captaincy as Nick (Farr-Jones) had gone off injured. I knew I had to come up with something precise and factual. I was determined not to resort to the cliche of, ‘don’t panic, don’t worry’. There were no clocks at the ground so I asked referee Jim Fleming how long there was to go. Four minutes, came the reply. So, that’s what I said to the boys. I stuck to the facts. ‘Four minutes, still time, we’ll kick long from the restart, press, they’ll kick out and we’ll strike from the lineout’.
What was is that Ireland scrum-half Rob Saunders sliced his clearance, Australia had a lineout around the 22-metre line, David Campese took it up and was on hand later in the sequence but was tackled. Lynagh’s role had been to track play. He swooped and dived over the line.“
