    We were going nowhere there

    They've defended Sititi very well

    is Ardie playing 6 now?
Seems to have had loads of open field carries compared to recent games.

Lakai, Vaa'i and Roigard going pretty well (and the set piece, so the whole pack)

Ruck is good but too many phases going nowhere. Need some variation.

    Pretty good first 40 mins.
We need to stay direct and keep the structure.. don't want to see Wallace doing that silly Ardie stutter step ... just hit it up hard.

French lucky to not get pinged at the back of a few rucks late in the piece.

Lakai looking good, tight five have been excellent and if you aint on the Cam train yet you better get to the next station asap

Is Reece playing? Only saw him get beaten in the air by an admittedly awesome jumping France FB

In the positive column he got an excellent intercept inside our own 22

As unfortunate as it was for Finau to get injured so early, it was more beneficial to have Lakai out there as Ardie wouldn't have been able to play as wide as he has been.

There will be a few nervous loose forwards back home injured watching their international careers get numbered by the day.

    That try was Christie-like.

Ah yes, I forgot. I don't even think he played badly, just seems play doesn't go his way on attack.

Should have been a try or two further ahead, not a bad half. Still needs to be won by either side.

Cant see close up action. On the other hand can see the way the game is being played. NZ are very organised on both attack and defence. More so than the French who look a little short of ideas when attacking.

Roigard is having a great game. His sniping threat is great. BB is also playing well. The forwards are really manning up on defence. Losses seem to be working well as a trio. Hope Finau is ok he looked liked a punch drunk boxer walking off.

I’m sticking with my midweek prediction. NZ to win by 15 with the bench making a difference.

The bench front row should come on and annihilate the French scrum

Like the way we're keeping our heads and discipline. No fancy miracle-ball stuff - just solid play.

Lakai looks good and you have to ask if injury has been a better selector this year.

#18 will be spent. I Weiner if he'll go of hia and golden oldies scrums. Do they keep 15 in that case?
