Autumn Test 2024 : Wales v Fiji
-
We had more than enough possession and territory to win this match but unforced errors, terrible decisions and poor execution gave Fiji the ball too many times and they took their chances
Well done Fiji
Wales 19 - 24

Wales making last weeks All Blacks looking smart. Honestly, why do Welsh media love Gatland?
They played the game right into Fijis hands.
He’s gotta be toast now surely.
That was all the players
Game plan early was spot on
Why we stopped passing to Llewelyn baffles me
-
Gatland has to go, get rid of the rotting fish!
-
@Jailbreak7 💯 He needs to do the right thing on saying that there’s not a whole lot of cattle to work with in Welsh rugby

That wasn’t about the game plan
If we’d stuck to it we’d have won
Biggest criticism was choosing Costello over James on the bench and Rowlands staying on the park too long
We left so many tries out there

We have the cattle to beat Fiji

Fiji playing much better than last week, Wales are in a really dark place right now.
Helps when they're allowed their players.

Taxi for Gatland?
Worst thing we could do

It is, but it's also a reason for their improvement.

Just got back from pub here in Wales, and can assure you mate, talking to locals, dumping Gats isn't on anyone's mind, just sorting out Welsh rugby from top to bottom is what they want.

Despite a disappointing defeat today I would not be surprised if we beat Australia next weekend

Well they weren't allowed their top side last week (due to it being outside the international window as you mentioned). Today, they were, and their performance was obviously a lot better than last weeks showing. This is in reference to jailbreak's post.

Same. Australia very rarely put 2 good performances together these days, and will go into this game with a bit of expectation.
Will be a close on either way. England struggled to slow Australia's ball, Wales will put a major focus on it and try and force the Aussies to play with static ball, make things messy at breakdown I feel. If they can do that, I think they're a big chance.
