Awful news, he is still so young.

Surprised he's only 28 because he's been on the scene for so long. Didn't he play a season for Waikato?

Yep - pretty sure he turned out for us.

Horrible news. Echo the thoughts of everyone who has posted above me.

Man that sucks. Super fit young guy in the prime of his career and just became a Dad earlier in the year. Cancer really doesn't discriminate. Thoughts with him and his family, hopefully they've found it early.

That's tragic. Really hope he pulls through. Fuck cancer. Fuck it.

Very sad to hear about Lealiifano. Horrible disease. I have a friend and a colleague who've had it (and survived, for now). It's a very tough battle. I wish him all the best. Good to see the rugby world is supporting him; I hope they'll continue to do so.

Poor bugger. Fingers crossed.

He sure did. Played mainly at fullback from what I remember.

Met him a few times in Canberra and a genuinely nice fella. Very down to earth and positive and liked to have a laugh. Wish him well with the treatment
-
Great news that the man is back playing!

Almost a year after his diagnosis with leukaemia, Lealiifano will be playing Super Rugby again. Really pleased to see he's doing so well that he can already make his comeback this season!
