As far as I'm aware, only 5 squads have been announced: Canterbury, North Harbour, Otago, Taranaki and Ta$man. Or did I miss one?
Southland I think was announced

@bovidae Cheers. I meant that everyone else has released either their squads for the 'trial' matches or the real squad. Waikato does not even manage to tell people who played in the game of three halves. Little wonder the enthusiasm has waned so much for NPC in Hamilton. Used to get rip-roaring crowds over there.

A little bit of a cheat code to get the Wellington Lions squad early. Head along to Dave Lintott photography and he’s loading headshots of the squad.
Surprised to see former Wallabies prop Pekahou Cowan in there. Didn’t realise he was born in Wellington but has obviously returned home.

@canes4life No Alex Fidow? Though I'm pretty sure his mum passed away last week so he may be missing in action for a while (fair enough too).
-
Pek Cowan is a good signing if he scrums like this:

I don't disagree with you.
As a season ticket-holder I was emailed the FPC team that played Canterbury and sent an email back asking if the Waikato team that would be playing in the game of three halves in Taupo would be released. I was told they didn't have that information. Ironically, there was a Waikato Juniors womens team that played the Auckland Thunder Development women in Taupiri on Sat, and that team was published on their SM.

Iona Apineru is another young loose forward signed by Wellington. He has been somewhat of a forgotten man after forming a classy NZ schools loose forward trio alongside Anton Segner and Nike Jones.

@canes4life That’s probably about spot on
-
@canes4life Newlands cowardly punch on Neemia Tialata would have to be right up there as one of the grubbiest acts I have ever seen on a rugby field ..the prick got a 10 week suspension, should have been a year ..
-
@steven-harris biggest grub in the game.

Latest Wellington Lions update is that Josh Southall has been included in the Lions. An amazing story behind this player - he was one of hottest rugby prospects in NZ before a serious injury derailed any hopes of making the Hurricanes out of school.
He looks like NZ's version of David Pocock, serious guns on the lad. Hope he goes well.
