We could have an entire mini game, with human pyramids to stop the ball going over, points for style, etc.

yeah, that occurred to me after i wrote that, you might be right, if the conversion is only going to draw it..do you aim for the post/crossbar and aim for the win...commentators would go nuts

    That would be gold.

@Bovidae Yep, he played for the Raiders U20 squad that won the 2020 Canberra Regional Rugby League Cup, last week. Although he didn't play in the Final, he played most games (so maybe injured?).

The article also confirms what I've said for more than a year: that he changed to league because he was being overlooked in rugby. And that's a real loss.

Good choice of club. They look after Kiwis and other overseas players well there

Does the Invitational XV have no shame, buying up former All Blacks mid competition?

I forgot Shalfoon was there too. It does seem to be a strange move to bring in a 35 yr old lock who spends most of his time on the wing.

Shalfoon is also injured, as are Parkinson, Strange and Max Hicks. We also don't have Frizell, whom we've often used at lock - so with five locking options out, we've signed a replacement.

While you guys wet your pants in fear, I think I'll wait and see how Isaac goes. A 35 year old who's spent 10 years playing in Japan.... 🙂

So Michaela starts the year on crutches and Aidan ends the year on crutches. There must be something in the water.

That appointment seems a bit strange in that Mr. Gardiner will have to undergo the 14 day isolation period before he can ref. Perhaps he has come here to get a number of first class games under his belt, something unavailable to him in Aus where it is just Club rugby at present, until getting some RC games to ref, assuming the Boks and Argies turn up.
