    Mitre 10 Cup

    Saturday, 10 October: 2.05pm: North Harbour v Hawke’s Bay (from Sunday 2.05pm)

    Sunday, 11 October: 1.15pm: Ta$man v Bay of Plenty (from 2.05pm); 1.15pm: Northland v Southland (from 4.35pm)

    Saturday, October 17: 2.05pm: Wellington v North Harbour (from Sunday 4.35pm)

    Sunday, October 18: 1.15pm: Canterbury v Waikato (from 2.05pm); 1.15pm: Otago v Counties (from 2.05pm)

    @Kiwiwomble from what I heard, he was poised to sign up here (Dale McLeod instrumental in getting him to that point) and then Northland cut McLeod loose, he chose Waikato and Alaimalo went to Ta$man due to Northland not re-signing McLeod too...as rumour has it anyway

    yeah, that occurred to me after i wrote that, you might be right, if the conversion is only going to draw it..do you aim for the post/crossbar and aim for the win...commentators would go nuts
