@Stargazer Our cunning plan must be to sign up all NZ's props!

Crockett, Hames, Perry, Lomax and Moli on the books - plus several others.

It was AB loosies last year ... shall we just call you the Ta$man Chequebooks from now on?

    Hang on, hang on.

Until you guys floundered your way through this year, we were the ONLY team who'd beaten them in a play-off game for about a decade!

@Nepia Stopgaps while we wait to release our other guys from bondage.

Though of those guys, only Hames is a poach to the same extent that Benny Franks was!

p.s. Indian fans around the world are currently slagging McLean Park - release the chequebook you tight b'stards! 🙂

Franks wasn't a poach, he was forced on us by the idiot Canes and we hated it as much as the Thug hated being in the team.

I don't give a shit what cricket fans think.

Our best poach from you guys was Kahn (a re-poach) as it meant a year without Eaton.

That's very true, you thieving bastards. I'm in summer mode or I would've remembered that heinous one immediately! 🙂

    North Harbour Rugby Union

The North Harbour Rugby Union was formed in 1985 and during this time has developed a reputation for playing colourful and entertaining rugby through all grades

SAM WARD APPOINTED AS THE ASSISTANT COACH FOR QBE NORTH HARBOUR

North Harbour Rugby is proud to announce that Sam Ward will be the Assistant Coach for QBE North Harbour Rugby!

QBE North Harbour’s Head Coach Kieran Keane said that he was pleased with the appointment.

“Sam demonstrated a strong understanding when it came to the nuts and bolts of Forward play and set piece- which will be important as we look to continue to grow our player group. He also showed strength in areas that I feel will not only complement our management team but add value to the other parts of our performance pathway”.

“And pleasingly, he has a strong connection and is extremely passionate about the Harbour community and its people, having grown up in the province and coached and supported a number of Harbour teams”

Ward, a Rosmini Old Boy, who supported the QBE Harbour wider training squad last year and more recently just finished a stint with the Tongan National Team as their Assistant Coach, said that coaching Harbour was something that he has always wanted to do.

“I am absolutely wrapped to have been given this opportunity. The Harbour Province and people have always been a big part of my life. I feel I have put in a lot of energy and effort to get here however the hard work for me starts now”

“There is a great core player group and some awesome talent developing through the community game - I’m excited to team up with Kieran and add value to the great work that has gone in around the Union over recent years.”

Ward will begin immediately and his portfolio with the QBE Harbour team will focus on Forward Play and breakdown, he will also provide Coach & Player Development Services within the community.
