Great, improved throw from Walsh, but he stays at bronze. Awesome result with 22.47m (season best).

Yeah, Walsh saved his best for last. Crouser was 65 cm ahead of the rest. 😲

Not a bad result from the NZ shotputters, with two bronze (Adams and Walsh) and 6th for rookie Wesche. Gill will probably be a bit disappointed he didn't make the top 8.

I've seen a few gripes about swimmers being able to win multiple gold medals at the Olympics, but I expect no such complaints about that in the kayaking 🙂

The most emotion (and pain) I've seen Carrington in after a final.

    Halbergs sorted. 🙂

None of the silly stroke differences of swimming, more like running 100, 200 and 400.

The gold medal is fantastic, but there's something special about watching history being rewritten, that minute and a half seemed to drag forever!!

Awesome. Looked liked she was fading at the end. Silver clawed back the lead.

(Only damper was Watto in commentary.)

Or swimming the same stroke 50, 200, and 400.

(I make few complaints about the swimming chances incase the next Danyon Loader turns up for us one Olympics 🙂 )
