Jamaica 1-2-3 in the women’s 100m
I think we know who is winning the women's 4 x 100.

Does not appear to be a happy team
Fraser-Price and Jackson are close friends but Thompson-Herah is a bit out on her own

@antipodean I don’t think ganja is on the banned list 😉
They have a documented systemic doping issue.

So far not looking like much room for movement in the equestrian bar a major fuckup/fall. The course appears to be set to challenge 90% of the riders but the elite 5* ones are finding it relatively easy in both time and difficulty.
Do we have a team in eventing this year?

When's Christmas?

Sometimes you have to wonder about the choices your parents make

Yep. Three individuals that then count together for a team score. Medal chance in both.

Just watching the women's hammer throw. Julia Ratcliffe had a first throw of 73.20 m, which was 30 cm shy of the qualifying mark. There were 3 automatic qualifiers in her group so she currently sits 4th, and will need to waith for the second group (including Lauren Bruce) to see if she advances to the final. A good chance for both I think.
Shot final to start soon.

Alcohol is often a catalyst to conception but at least you should have sobered up by naming time.

Another gold to Aus women swimmers. Incredible games from them.

@rancid-schnitzel first woman under 24s for 50m at the Olympics. That's insane

Nigerian sprinter and 2008 Olympics long jump silver medalist Blessing Okagbare test positive to HGH after winning her heat.
So she lives up to her name for the bronze medalist.

Cindy Sember? I thought the evil (fertile month) was more often January?

The Nigerian sprinters were insanely jacked. Could be genetics but even more suspicious now that one of their own has been caught. But obviously hardly a bombshell in sprinting where the bigger question is who is not on gear.
