Black Sticks women have been steadily improving since a couple of years before Gold Coast Comm games where they obviously did very well. Still a great win to beat Argentina who are always near the top of the ladder but there are other improvers also Japan China Gt Britian

This is a good game (Bball) between Italy and Germany. Germany were leading and Italy have made a good run in the 4th. Now up 6 with a minute to go.

NZ gave up a cheap goal right before HT, firstly from a poor clearance leading to a corner and then Woud couldn't stop the header.
A stunner from Cacace to open the score. Unfortunately Reid went off injured after 5 mins.
I wish this English commentator could pronounce the names of Cacace and Stanger right. Annoying.

Finals are evening US time, i.e., morning JP time.

As I said before, it's all to do with having the finals broadcast in the evening for the US market. They must pay the IOC the big money.

Weird, I can't even fucken find it on any of the dozen or so channels here! They almost seem to be going out of their way to not broadcast anything involving NZ.
And the BBC blurb for their coverage mentioned the Brit in the road race and that Katie Ledecky is swimming today. WTF?
