A slow time for a final.
Morning final vs heats at night.
And a heavy early morning programme...

Yeah, blame the US networks.

Based on a far from normal build-up, we are unlikely to see many WR beating performances IMHO

If the Tokyo Schedule on the Sky Sport website is still up-to-date:
Next Kiwis are in the Women's Quadruple Sculls Repechage (1.50pm on Tokyo 2020 ch 2/Sky Sport ch 4), followed by Michael Venus and Marcus Daniell in the 1st round of the Men's Doubles tennis (2.00pm on Tokyo 2020 ch 8/Sky Sport 10?).
Emma Twigg in the Women's Single Sculls quarter-finals at 2.30pm (on Tokyo 2020 ch 2/Sky Sport ch 4).

Being a Laser sailor myself I will be keenly watching Sam Meech in his first race at 5.30pm. He won Bronze last time out so hopefully he can get on the podium again.

Grumpy, because they're not showing the men's tennis double on Sky Sport, but a women's singles game.
Down vote for sky

@bovidae So that race was 50m too long for a medal.
Yes. The only swimmer slower in the last 50 m was the winner!

From Stuff (Clareburt's splits):
Needs to work on his butterfly.
Probably blew his load a bit last night in the heats. But with no semis it’s very difficult to ease off.

How utterly ridiculous that they can’t take off their masks on the podium.
