I hope so cause that'll make me 6'1"
Wikipedia has Jordie at 6'5" as reliable as that can be. Anyone know any different?
The picture of Beauden, Jordie and Scott at Dagg's place for dinner showed him a good 3 inches taller than Beauden.
Unfortunately they weren't doing handstands next to each other so treat with caution
He is going to be a monster ( for a white back anyway ) 6 foot 5 and 96 kilos at 19 , another 3 years in the gym he will be a decent sized midfielder

he's still young enough to be shoe horned into another position, lets go with, halfback, lets revolutionalise half back play with a huge 9.
-
@taniwharugby Interesting Kamo was saying , Jordie is the same dimensions now , as he was as a test lock
-
@kiwiinmelb exactly, that's be looking backwards, so that's why we need to do something radical and different, hopefully it will be soon, imagine the inside backs of Jordie-Dagg-Ardie!
-
Is there still time for Messam to be a test 13 ?
-
Just rename the All Blacks "Wales".......Mike Phillips is the same height as me and I'm even taller than the standard 6 foot 2 that everyone on the fern is by default.

Piri was a huge halfback at times and performed very well, so you may be on to something there...

@No-Quarter He went huge the wrong way

For someone who bleated about multinational corporations taking over NZ when the tppa was passed he wasn't shy about adding to kfc and Pizza Hutts balance sheets.

I won't be too upset if they lose soon in terms of the current win streak as they'll just start another one and i figure they will reach 18 eventually.
No what will be really gutting to me is the end of the current home winning streak of 43.I don't think this will be matched again in our lifetimes or ever? Would be great if they can reach 50.
Really though right now there is this feeling of dominance and inevitability about the all blacks that I haven't felt since their 23 game unbeaten run between 1987-90 when that pack was so dominant and there was daylight between them and everyone else. Even when they had their perfect season a couple of years back there were still several close games like the last minute win over Ireland etc *. All they need to do now is sack Read and the comparison for me will be pretty complete.
(*edit: except for the WC semi v SA where I was at twickers surrounded by bokke fans and completely bricking myself the whole match - i really hated that game).

Yeah - was at that game too, probably more nerve-wracking than waiting to hear MRI results... after the full time whistle I was just pacing up and down the seats for about 15 minutes, waiting for my hands to stop shaking enough for me to go online and buy tickets to the final.
Whereas the week before - at Cardiff, a big group of saffas left the stadium 10 minutes before full-time... I was grinning like an idiot, full of hubris, as I yelled out to them "see you next week". -
@GM1 I really hope they can go a decade undefeated at home - we last lost on the 12th of September 2009. How many home tests between now and end of 2019s season? Guessing 3x northern tours plus 3 home RC games, so 6 per year for 3 full seasons plus this weekend's = another 19 tests. Takes home streak to 62.

You know how Facebook reminds us of things from a few years back ? I remember that loss against SA, the much maligned Stephen Donald was 1st five. I also had an awesome BBQ and someone drunk every single Macs in the house.
Turns out it was me.

Mate, I was there too and Carter was 10. See link above. He put in a bomb into the corner to win it in the final minutes - we damn near burgled it, but in no way deserved to get up that night.
My abiding memory was Frank Steyn kicking two monster penalties from 60 m, with a gentle breeze behind him. Just incredible - we could not believe they went over.
Edit: Donald was at 12!

McCaw played his 74th test at Hamilton in 2009.
Carry the one...
Exactly halfway through his test career he suffered his final home loss.
In many ways that is appropriate. That 2009 test was the end of an All Black era, with a new era of dominance beginning straight after (which is still going on).

Still a bloody good team there, obviously the name Isaac Ross stands out like dogs balls but he wasn't exactly shit....just not as good as others.
Should have been way better than he was. Incredibly gifted, just gad to adjust his game and do a bit more hard work before flouncing around like a winger
