The only difference between this game and any other game is we didn’t have Tangitau, Tavatavanawai, or Hurley scoring an individually brilliant try. We need to be honest here and admit the basics that should have been developed at school level aren’t there. We have a serious lack of leadership and direction. You can’t but that down to inexperience as those unforced errors shouldn’t even happen at NPC level. This team needs a serious refocus in mindset and basic skill set. Shoot this down all you want and say it’s negative, but it’s just calling a spade and spade. It’s looking like a 3-4 win season if we’re lucky.

Millar is worth a go but he's fairly limited himself. I don't think the Landers would be in a much different spot with him at 10.

Disagree. He made great strides at the end of the Super Rugby and through the NPC.

At the very least he can control the game with his boot.

There were plenty of average performances. Gilbert was back to missing tackles and dropping the ball.

Whatever could go wrong in the 2nd half did.

The Otago based highlanders have a shocking habit of shooting up and in, missing the tackle, and giving space on the outside. It’s infuriating how much they do it and it never works. Anyone who watches Otago during the NPC will know what I’m talking about. It’s so predictably terrible

Yeah, most of the team look like they're just going through a training run and not focused, so errors just fall in easily. Plus yeah, the leadership in the forwards leaves a lot to be desired. Holland looks like an average NPC player.

He’s looked like an NPC version of Mario Itjoe. All niggle, no substance

@KiwiInLondon like I said earlier, he's not even noticeable apart from the odd lineout, definitely haven't noticed any niggle.

I notice it a lot around the ruck. He has resorted to pushing and pulling players in trying to disrupt but completely ineffective. He’s young but he’s had u20 and AB XV caps now and was touted as an all black. You expect those players to stand up in adversity, not shrink

Players get dragged down by those around them... he's running on fumes because we have no other locks, Dunshea is struggling, the loosies suck and the props have been ailing.

If he was looking good in this rabble, he'd be the best lock of all time.
