Stalking helps to back up my point that women are more likely (see I bolded it for you this time) to be victims if they reject men. Men can also be victims of stalking but it is less likely (don't confuse with never).

Lies damn lies and statisitics.

There is no real evidence that women are more likely to be stalked... first you need to define stalking. Then you need to make it clear that you are talking about reported stalkings. I have a couple of mates who have been 'stalked' by some pretty horrid young women. They didn't go to the police and it will never appear in any stats.

Of course not all women report stalkings either, but like domestic violence it is well known that men simply dont report to the same level as women.

I cannot prove your assertion incorrect, but I can say that you have not proved your statement correct and it is nothing but an opinion.
-

Some really good points made there, in that shambles of a team he was comfortably second best batsman there after Chanderpaul for so many years. Shame many of the rest weren't test standard.

That bit about the racism in his own country was surprising. I could be wrong but most players from there I remember were of the darker complexion.

I definitely want hydro11's views on all this though

So, yes, it is more difficult to say no when you are a woman because you are more likely to get a negative reaction from a guy.

I'm not trying to argue that woman don't face all manner of issues around sexism in society, but all Gayle did wrong was ask her out on live tele which was embarrassing for Mel (I would say both of them but Gayle has no shame), but hardly a big deal. People jumping on their high horses and screaming "SEXISM" are undermining the real issues around sexism that are actually impacting woman. Just like people that try and find racism everywhere - undermining actual issues around race that we need to address.

I never said it was a big deal. Doesn't the fact that I repeatedly said Gayle didn't deserve a fine indicate that I thought it wasn't a big deal? Good lord, I'm glad I didn't see this until now.

What Gayle did was sexist but only mildly so. I don't think asking a woman out when she is working or busy is sexist, it is just inconsiderate unless the circumstances dictate otherwise. You guys make me sound like I'm crazy but all I'm saying is don't ask out the checkout lady if there are 30 people in line. No biggie. Just use your common sense. I'm hardly a poster boy for feminism.
