There's that, theres the kick off's, the exits. We're good but not great.
I am convinced our midfield srt up is getting the worst out of both our starting midfielders

They never seen to have any time or space, just enough to crash it up

For all the talk against Ioane as a centre watch the French go-ahead try
The short ball he hits Vaai with is perfect. -

The short ball he hits Vaai with is perfect.I swear people who complain about his distribution are watching with their heads shoved firmly up their own arseholes. The major problem is he isn't being given the ball in space to do much, if anything, with.
When he does have space and time he makes good decisions.

@Billy-Webb Most probably. Apologies @Billy-Tell. I got my Billys mixed up
To tell the truth you’re sort of correct. My dad was South African but moved to NZ in the 1970s where he met my kiwi mum. At that period, when you became kiwi you had to relinquish SA citizenship which my dad did (willingly). He considers himself a kiwi through and through and has lived more of his life in NZ than SA. As for me Kiwi + Swiss (through marriage). But yeah billy Webb. That guy can’t use a crossbow to save himself.
Hahaha. Touché.
I am more of a shotgun guy really.

I am finally getting to watch the game and it is so incredibly different to the match thread. Sure BB lacked impact, Reece wasn't fast, the halfbacks had some struggles but the French were very good, fit, strong on the carry if not particularly imaginative, defensively powerful, had faster wings, and played the ref far better than us. They still looked pretty scared at times out there.
Gee, the Mighty Williams, Sititi and Vaa'i had good games, SB had some good touches but he seems less dynamic these days, Savea looked more engaged at 6/7 in the open than he has been at 8. DMac sparked more than BB to my mind. Jordan wasn't crap, just not his normal flukey self, and suddenly doesn't look fast up against the French backline.
We could have used Clarke better as well.
There were some neck-high tackles, playing on the ground, and interesting interpretations of onside by the French but hey if the ref doesn't notice them..Oh and our midfield has no incisive ability, worsening when JB went off, yes it was obvious.

That drop by Ioane, coachkiller.
