Or maybe they took that big step forward by winning the game in the last 15 minutes.
We won against England in the last 15 minutes in Robertson's first game. Now getting back to that level is a big step forward? Some progress eh?
That said, it was a plus compared to the 2nd half clueless drivel that Robertson and his team have served up so far this year..
Change your name to Captain "Fozzy Fanboi" Miserable. We just won a test at Twickenham. Have been harping on all season that we can't score in the last 20.
Mate, we came close to blowing it in the last 5 minutes by the usual poor discipline, decision making and leadership.
But playing well for 10-15minutes in the last 60 is a huge improvement for this team and its coaches, I'll give you that.

But also came close to blowing that game wide open. Ratima gave them the "in".

To add to the missed drop goal and penalty shot, Ford's defence on Telea's second try was poor as well
Na, the ABs were just lucky.

A few of the old fullas have to say goodbye to starting. There's no other option.
9-10-12 didn't work and isn't going to work next game.
Razor has to be courageous. -

We were dominating until the intercept. They didn't once look like scoring a try.
Maybe toughing a win will hopefully be a turning point, but you have to ask what caused us to go from dominating to narrowly winning by 1 point - and even that was down to England missing two kicks we gifted to them thru appalling discipline.
And comparing tis team to the 2013 vintage is a bit fanciful, I reckon

Exactly my point. We threw the opportunity away. Again.
-
@Daffy-Jaffy Thanks for that - watching it, I suddenly realised that on my dodgy-stream - I didn't actually see a single one of the points being scored. Filled in the gaps of my torrid watching experience nicely.
-
ABs definitely the better team but battled the ref, the crowd, and their own stupidity. England were playing the ball off the ground and had a free pass at the breakdown defending their line. Gardner, give yourself a sternum punch.

Would you rather be the ABs creating opportunities or England creating none? No one is saying it was flawless. Pretty fucking sure we're all frustrated AF with all the missed opportunities we don't finish. But we scored three tries, finished the game stronger, and win despite ourselves. England fluffed kicks at the end.

Wallace Sititi was my player of the day, fuck he’s awesome. Mark Telea had some beautiful touches as well and how about that try.
Beauden isn’t the answer at 10, kick…kick…kick. Jesus Christ, we looked more like England than England at times. Where’s the innovation?
Fair play to Aumua as well, his line out throwing was pretty solid for the most part and played a full 77 mins.

I'd rather the AB's focussed on scoring and didn't have such shit discipline a team producing minimal opportunities loses a game by 1 point - despite the AB's keeping them in the game .

On that I'll disciplined PoS display, Ireland sand France will chew us up and spit us out. But hopefully we've learnt...
... Yeah rightI dunno. Discipline was utter shite and arguably the worst this year, but that was a huge improvement in the last 40 minutes compared to recent crap served up - we didn't actually go completely to pieces and played really well for at least 10-15 minutes.

Discipline is the massive work on for the ABs.
