I hadn't realised that Sariah Ibarra was now in the USA squad. She spent her final year of school at Hamilton GHS last year and made the NZ Girl's U18 sevens team.

Yep. Watching Molia and Collier get caught easily from behind highlighted that.

Generally the defence was really good but NZ had chances to score a second try to seal the game but weren't good enough because they lack speed when the ball goes wide.

The BF7s do win their QF beating hosts Canada 34-12. Their prize is a SF against Aust (10:36 am NZT).
