The ABs need to go fresh and young and commit to it now

He's got the ABs playing pretty good rugby for 40-60 minutes. I wouldn't say Foster had the team looking this good for those periods
Have a look at the last 3 games of the RWC and tell me we haven't gone backwards and Robertson has this team looking better for longer periods.
You can thank the Wallaby coach for that. It seemed like a dumb move at the time to not keep him in AB rugby
Deliberate decision to go with an (almost) completely fresh coaching set-up, wasn't it? Or did Robertson not want Schmidt?

Savea needs to be cut completely. I wouldn't even have him in the 23 anymore.
Savea and Beaudy are two of our biggest onfield problems to solve and have been for years.
I wonder if they would be better suited to shoring up the the subs.

I think it was the other way round. That is how it was portrayed in 2022.
Schmidt would have been an excellent choice to formally take over the reins this year after informally taking them from Fozzie for the last 18 months.
I can see why the clamour for Razor though and probably thought he owed him one after the fox u turn in Aug 2022

Schmidt didn’t want to work with Razor is what I heard.

Aumua might be the biggest disappointment in supposed talent of the last five years.
His clean work was fucking atrocious, and his running game seems to have disappeared . And then there is the set piece - or more correctly lack of set piece.

I agree with this.
5-6 senior players have been part of the leadership problem for 5 or so years. But still get picked every week.
Ratima, Sititi, Williams have shown that if you give the talent the chance it will take it.

Narawa must be wondering what he did wrong.
Speaking of ineffective cleans, Reece may be a live wire but he is a little body and cleans like one. We were in deep shit every time he was forced to clean.
See also Will Jordan on this.

They need to give Bell a chance at hooker.

@Darth-Sader and a lack of fitness can lead to poor decision making and execution

Frank Bunce had 55 caps.
ALB has 72.
There are far too many Allblacks who’s candle is being allowed to burn out while in the jersey rather than being cast aside early leaving us to ponder what if.
The former is much worse than the latter.
If the World Cup was tomorrow, this coaching ticket (and the last) would leave a Milner Skudder at home and bring a Beauden Barrett instead.

At least Razor will get to drink out of the Bledisloe
Something he never did as a player - being capped during the dark years of 98-02.
Oh wow!
That makes me feel a lot better! -
