Chiefs 2025

So the ABs are finally back training but won't be involved on Saturday.
Although it's only the first pre-season game I'll be interested to see what team McMillan selects, particularly the loose forward trio and who starts at 1st 5 (Jacomb or Trask). Maybe the local boy gets first crack.

Has anyone signed up for Chiefs Pass? I assume there is a cost when they want CC details.
The game against the Hurricanes will be streamed on that platform so I was wondering if it was worth it.
Is that the only way to see the game or are they doing a live stream on Youtube?

@Canes4life I've no idea. The game doesn't look to be on Sky at this stage.

Weren’t games on NZR+ last year?
Some of the games were on Sky Sport as well. Hopefully they stream a couple at least.

Apart from the ABs and Shaun Stevenson, there is no Fiti Sa, Te Toiroa Tahuriorangi (hence two extra halfbacks), Kaleb Trask, Quinn Tupaea (as mentioned), Emoni Narawa and Liam Coombes-Fabling.
The Hurricanes have named 47 players compared to the Chiefs 37.

@DurryMexted Koller would be the backup in this squad. Not too many options at fullback either.

From the Waikato Times:
- Coombes-Fabling had off-season knee surgery, will miss the first few rounds
- Narawa had wrist surgery so will be eased back into play
- Tupaea had his foot stood on at training
McMillan is bemoaning the lack of quality outside backs that aren't already in SR squads or aren't in the NZ sevens programme.
