SF - Hurricanes vs Chiefs
-
Taking a look at the seats already snapped up for this game, there looks to be about 21k odd tickets sold already. Hopefully that continues to climb as we edge closer to Saturday but I think a crowd of close to 30k will be a huge win.
-
@Canes4life keep in mind the bottom left corner is the closed off area.
So it looks like those are sold out on the map when they're just not available to purchase yet. They will become available if the other 3/4s start to get close to sellng out.

Yeah I noted that, from the tickets already sold in the other areas I've just estimated that 20-21k looked to have been sold already.

@Canes4life here's hoping we get close to 30K. A bit disappointing it's not close to an instant sell out tbh.

@foobaNZ yeah it is a bit, I'd say if we make it through to the final though it will sell out rapidly.
Same

I'm hoping for a Paul Tito-esque finish from the Canes in this one.

All media I'm consuming is picking Chiefs to take this, except Parsons.
Interesting, I've heard quite a few people picking the Canes (including Parsons). This game is literally 50/50 for me, could go either way.
The media are also flakey as fk, how many times have people flipped flopped this year on who they think will win the comp, it changes every week. Chiefs were the best performing team last week, doesn't mean that will be the case this week. Small margins in these games.

Canes have been the smokeys all season, very rarely picked as winners or top dogs in the big games. Yet here they are top of the table with home semi! Once good performance by the Chiefs and that's enough for them to be favourites in the media away from home against the top team.
I am sure it'll be close

@Machpants rarely picked as winners in the big games? We've been favourites on our home patch in the big games, and we are favourites again this week. Not sure what you're talking about.
As I said the media are flakey with their predictions, they've gone Blues as favourites, then picked the Canes as favourites, now it's the Chiefs. Any team can win from here but the Canes are favourites for this one because they've won 9 on the trot at home including wins against the Crusaders, Chiefs, Blues, Highlanders etc.
The Chiefs were favourites in Hamilton despite the Canes looking the better of the teams leading into that game. Home advantage is massive.

Ruben Love expected to be named in 15 but will be getting similar treatment to last week. May be a late pull like last week but the hope is he can tough it out.
Thanks for the scoop. On the Canes story today he was running around with a smile on his face. Hope that points to him playing this week.
