Stanley Jr
he was superb. But you cna't mix a career as a Doctor with a rugby career any more.
Also was already done at like the start of the thread
Yeah apparently so. Interesting, my brain forgot that entirely

Ben Tameifuna, Rory Grice.
That's a name I haven't heard in a while.
Sean Maitland? He's just retired too.
A few years ago, Grice was named best Nr.8 of the Top 14.

Regan King?
yeah why did he leave just as he appeared to be cracking it? Especially given he's a centre, a position we are rarely stacked at?
Really weak tackler. I remember one of the well connected Waikato posters said he hated any contact work. Probably knew he didn't have a long NZ career ahead of him?
King in his prime was possibly the best attacking 13 in the Northern Hemisphere. Numerous 13s of the round in Heineken Cup. Had an almost Svengali ability to make people think he was going where he was not and thereby to stroll though quality tight defences untouched.
Never known up here for tackling.

@ploughboy Haha, was just reading up on it, there's some angry people out there towards what he's done to them. I completely missed it at the time.
He's like the former All Whites soccer goalkeeper Michael Utting.
I assume he did the same shit to the poor naive Ashburton folk?
