Moana Pasifika v Chiefs

“They are cracking down on that this season”
Hahaha that’s rubbish. I’ve lost count of the number of times where time has gone on after the ref has said use it.

That wasn't a good watch. Moana after all these years still don't seem capable of being able to put in a performance on both sides of the ball. I really don't get the revolving door of selection... they need to build some connections. Picking Leuila at 10 was just dumb, and it hampered them.

Edit: I think Jacomb might be good, but he looks exactly as you describe right now. This is a level he's not used to yet so it's not clear whether he'll excel in Super yet.
He looks like he's getting his time and space consistently wrong. Too deep when he should be flatter and vice versa.
I'm a fan, Have watched Jacomb for the Naki, and been impressed. I am not saying he an AB or anything, but has got the potrntial ti be pretty good is there. He took over rfom Protoz and Perofeta as the Naki's preferred No 10, Not sure how many NPC games he has actually started, but maybe half dozen, and started 2 for Chiefs , he got a bit to learn, but he definitely tracking right way.
By geez I have to say I still a Jacobson fan, I not a highlights package fan, I keen on players that just keep working doing all their bits and pieces well. Once again not saying he kicks anyone out of ABs, but can see why Ryan is also a fan. ALB is looking ok too I thought. -
Only saw the highlights. Was it a RC?

Is the Chiefs kit man a Beano fan?

He does the basics well enough, he just looks like he needs to adapt to the speed of SR.

Tupaea is a bit like a slightly more reliable version of Jordan Petaia (though Petaia has a better kicking game).
Largely strong with ball in hand, sometimes flimsy on defence, occasionally basic skills let him down. Less frustrating decision making though.

Don't disagree at all, but takes a few games for any player to adjust to extra spped I think.
