Force v Crusaders

The wooden spoon decider
-
I would expect the Force to lift playing at home against a shaky Crusaders outfit - if they get a decent early lead will be hard to beat
-
@Nevorian surely the Saders get the job done this week, if not, they don't deserve to be in the playoffs.
-
@Canes4life they shouldn't be in playoffs regardless. comp should be double round-robin (home + away) with top 6 finals.
-
Lol they won't lose this week. The Force are about as good as a mid table NPC side.
-
Force look like they have got some reinforcements returning against crusaders in 23

If they've spent the bye week doing defensive drills, the Crusades could be in trouble.

From the Crusaders website:
Johnny McNicholl sustained a finger injury during the Crusaders clash with the Waratahs on Friday night. He has returned to Christchurch for imaging and specialist review, after which time his return to play timeline will be more evident. Willi Heinz sustained a calf injury during training in Perth on Tuesday. He has also returned to Christchurch for further assessment. Return to play timelines will be evident for both after assessment in Christchurch. Ryan Crotty and Louie Chapman have flown to Perth to join the touring group.

Isn’t Anzac round next week?
-
How is your job talking about rugby players, you read "Fihaki" and say "Fihaka"?
-
Nice kick
-
Has Lio-Willie played this year?
-
Nice shoulder charge ffs
-
Good run from Kurtley
-
Yuck from Fihaki
-
Nice try by the Force there.
-
Broken ribs for Dallas? Maybe just winded…

A few games at the start of the year then got injured until last week.
This might be his first start?

@Bones So overrated
I had no idea he was rated, he's definitely been playing better this year than I've seen in the past though.

Ahh right. Was just pondering Horan talking about how he's been having more and more impact the last few games he's seen him....I couldn't recall seeing him.
-
@Bones Horan, the same guy that said before that Aumua’s having a fantastic season for the Crusaders. Lol he’s been mud.
-
To be fair to Razor, when he was Crusaders coach it was part of his job to big up the players in his squad.
Hopefully, now he's All Blacks coach, he has a more sober view of some of these Red N'Blacks.

@Bones I remember an interview a couple of seasons ago, Razor got asked who to watch for in the Crusaders and he said Fihaki and said he would be a bolter for the All Blacks… yikes
You mean the current All Black coach who's looking for a new fullback?
-
Free for all at the rucks, not once in that passage of play did the force release before going for the ball. Old school ruck attacks
-
Oh look, number 4 for crusaders grabbing collars and pushing people from behind. How Strange
-
@sparky Yes. But out of his whole squad a few seasons ago that is who he singled out is my point.
I don’t mean to sound like I hate the guy, he has plenty if potential. Just constantly making errors or wrong choices. Hopefully yhat changes for the crusaders sake.
-
I am not a very big fan of this Australian referee.
-
Moody trying to mimic PPP with the speed of his passing action
-
Good defensive phase by the Force. Clueless Crusaders
-
It's unbelievable that this team won the last 7 in a row
-
These tactics are terrible. Blind Freddy knows that the Force attack the ball hard and yet we are not committing enough numbers
-
I'm not mad I'm just disappointed. We should be smoking them, instead we're in a bottom of the table cripple fight against (checks notes) the Kingz.
-
Drummond having a big game, Hannah impressing too. Everyone else can pull fucking finger right now thankyou.
-
Moody and Franks provide no punch what so ever any more. There isn't any noticeable punch in the Crusaders attack atm, it's really hurting them.
