Fijian Drua vs Hurricanes

Has playing in the NH done wonders for Shields? Who was coaching him?

@Runt Then what’s the point in carding us for ill discipline then if the card doesn’t release the pressure.
It was for a pro foul and a high tackle. Nothing to do with how many other penalties we had conceded.

Beautiful from Delany. Man he's playing well.
Ultimate kiss of death as he got yellow carded straight after!

Canes going for another try at 81 minutes...
...and get it

Hurricanes MOTM poll here - https://www.forum.thesilverfern.com/topic/6634/hurricanes-motm-vs-drua/3
I went Shields, Proctor and Flanders as my picks.
Aumua a massive worry now for the Canes, hopefully it's not serious.

Well done to the Canes. No win is an easy win in Fiji but they played it perfectly and whilst under siege for large periods of the match.
They'll be hard to stop this year.
-
@African-Monkey seems like injuries could be the only thing that stops the Canes. The Canes need their own knee specialist.
-
Aumua on crutches but I'm sure that's precautionary so he doesn't put any more weight on that knee.

Defence wins championships and the Canes definitely have that in spades this year. Just need to pull in the discipline. Heading into this game the Hurricanes had only received one yellow card this year, they were handed three in this game which won't please Laidlaw. What he will be pleased with is fight, a great shift when 13 men down.

@Canes4life This team looks way different how many times have we crumbled under pressure once we’ve conceded a yellow. In previous years.
