6N France v England

Great game. But gutted but lovely to see us playing
Yeah apart from that 15 minutes or so in the middle of the second half when we decided to kick away our possession 😤 -
Some nice rugby in this game and sweet tries. None better than France's from a stolen lineout in their own half. I don't know why England didn't run at the 10-12 channel more. France's decision making and execution in defence in that channel wasn't great.
Speaking of not great, predictably Gardner did Gardner things: 52nd minute with the French maul rolling towards the 5m line, Taofifenua and Mauvaka (carrying the ball) are bound and break away. Gardner says it's the same maul so Mitchell clearly comes in from an offside position, changes his bind and rips the ball from Mauvaka. Gardner ends up awarding England with a penalty.

@Kiwidom BenEarl has gone from strength to strength this 6N. Easily Englands best. England will rue not making more of their chances in the first half.
Cant help looking at George Ford and thinking he is the kind of 10 the ABs need right now. Steady and unflappable, good decision maker, a big boot, a leader. -
Just watching the second half again because I like the pain. Can someone explain to me why the TMO who got involved for the final decision didn’t get involved on 44 or so minutes when Freeman went down the touch line and passed inside to two waiting Englishmen 8 metres out only for the French full back to stick an arm out and knock the ball on? There were no replays after it happened but I can’t believe no one thought to check. Penalty try and yellow card would have changed the second half.
