Waratahs keen to avoid 'wasted' season after Crusaders win

Intent on not being one-hit wonders, the NSW Waratahs have swiftly shifted their focus to claiming another prized scalp following their shock Super Rugby Pacific victory over the champion Crusaders.

Maybe I'm underestimating the Tahs, but I'm not convinced by them just yet. That was an average Crusaders side, with a few flukey tries to boot. On another day, I suspect the Saders run away with that game. They were flogged Round One.

The Highlanders have previously struggled in these games, because we haven't had a backline capable of pouring on the points, so it inevitably came down to fine margins. 10 tries in two games is a cracking start, and there is no reason why that doesn't continue.

I see something like 38-29 to the Highlanders.
