Happy for the Japs and all but wow, there is something very wrong with refereeing at Super rugby level. The Argie's got screwed.

They gotta stop promoting referees for what they can do under the desk and rather for quality of performance. That was embarrassing.

Great game.

Big games by Tusi Pisi and Derek Carpenter.

Outside of last weeks game, Pisi has had a really good year. He's probably had a hand in 90% of the Sunwolves tries this year.

Carpenter has been very good since he's been in the starting line-up. Been a good cheap pick-up in fantasy for me the last few weeks.

Nice work...Jagulars (slip Booboo?) have been hugely disappointing, think they have struggled with the pace of the game and the travel.

Only 1 tipper picked the Sunwolves too!

The fuck? I'm shocked but when I think about it, I probably shouldn't be. On the one hand, the Sunwolves just lost by 90 odd points last week and the Jaguares look a fuckload stronger on paper. But on the other, the Sunwolves have proved to be pretty decent at home and the Jaguares are really struggling with their introduction to Super rugby and seem to travel even worse than the Saffa teams.

Congrats Sunwolves but I sure hope the Jaguares improve hugely next season.

Jagulars are fearsome, honey-stealing, predatory jaguar-like animals found in the Hundred Acre Woods. They've been mentioned several times in the Winnie-the-Pooh stories, but no real Jagular has ever been actually seen, raising doubts about their very existence.

Jagulars were first mentioned in Chapter IV of the book The House at Pooh Corner, in which Tigger and Roo are stuck on a tree, screaming for help. As Pooh and Piglet walk by, they hear the screams and Pooh believes it is a Jagular. According to Pooh, Jagulars are large beasts that hide themselves in the treetops shouting "Help! Help!" But it's a trap: when people approach to help, the creature attacks.

http://pooh.wikia.com/wiki/Jagular

Anyone catch the Sunwolves vs Stormers game? Massive choke at the end by the Sunwolves.

I am scratching my head at the decision by the Sunwolves to turn down the possible 3 points when they're up 17 - 10 with 3 minutes left on the clock. Pisi is kicking 83% this season too, which makes the decision even more baffling. Not the first time the Sunwolves have made a dumb decision in crunch time this year.

Probably a Hammett masterpiece. If you are only slightly ahead, then there is an argument is that you can keep the ball for three minutes with modern rules, so you have upside of a try and if you don't cock up you own the game and run the clock.

If you kick the pen, then the oppo get the ball back and/or field position. So your control of the game is less.

However, if you are 7 up and kick the goal, then it is game over. So, yeah. Stupidity all round.
