Kane has a better "hundreds per match" ratio than anyone except Bradman and a few flukes like Rodney Redmond and Andy Ganteaume.
7 in the last 12 is just ridiculous. Ridiculous.
Context when you look at how many NZers have scored more than seven - and some of the names who scored seven or less.

Man this feels good. I know it's not the prime SA team, but wins are wins. Big bonus for WTC for us - I thought we were out of it after the Bangladesh loss, but we're gasping. A good showing against Aus (not gonna happen) and we'd be right in it.... until we go to India.
Happy Friday night everyone

@Paekakboyz Five years or so maybe? I saw something on reddit about it.

I'll happily take that, after it looked like we were going to FUBAR another series win chance on Day two.
On Hadlee and Williamson comparisons. Given Hadlee was the world test wicket record holder at one stage, and was a lot handier with the bat than Kane is with the ball, I'm still hat tipping that way. Though probably best just to enjoy having seen both of them in most TSF'ers lifetimes.
On Conway, his technical issues are one of the awkward joys of cricket. By the time TSFers and Junior parents are talking about things, there's no way that he is blind to it. If only the fixes were always quick (even I'd have been a decent batter )

@MN5 Santner or Ajaz Patel.
Given my scepticism about playing spinners in NZ, though - right now I'm hoping for...
Latham, Young, Williamson, Mitchell, Ravindra, Phillips, Blundell, Henry, Jamieson, Southee, O'Rourke.
Sorry Devon, but you need some runs in the short forms.
I like that team.
Remember gang, Australia lost to a Windies team arguably worse than this SA one.

It will be a true test of where we are at as a test nation atm.
you know where we are as a test nation. We are solid, and near the top tier, but struggle with really good sides.
In other words, one of the better sides we've ever put out, but not the WTC Mace winning quality.

You live in hope we can lift in our conditions I am hopeful of a good series from us.
But I know the Australian cricket mind set it will be very tough. -

Kane Williams has gone from our greatest batsmen to one of test history’s best batsmen
One amazing stat is he’s now scored 8 centuries in a row once passing 50. Only Bradman has done better at 12. Bradmanthat doesnt sound right? you mean tests in a row and not innings right? Even that isnt right because of one Bangladesh test..
Edit: forget it, you're looking at conversions only (my bad), FYI he almost did have consecutive test record if it wasn't for the bangles first test

Francis is a passionate bofin, love it..couple of other interesting ones
The 152 run stand between Williamson & Young is easily the highest unbroken 4th wicket partnership to win a test for NZ. (It was only NZ's fourth seven wicket win). The other unbroken 4th wicket stands stands were 39, 15 and 11 #NZvSA
A few tables to update...
Playing in most test winning sides for NZ
44 Ross Taylor
44 Tim Southee
43 Kane Williamson
Southee has taken at least one wicket in every NZ test win that he's played in #NZvSABest 50-100 conversion rate in tests (min 20x100)
% (100s/50s)
69 (29/13) D Bradman
51 (22/21) M Azharuddin
51 (28/27) M Clarke
51 (30/29) M Hayden
51 (34/33) Younis Khan
49 (32/33) K Williamson
49 (29/30) V Kohli

It means the last 8 times he has gone past 50 he’s converted them all into 100s.
The record is 12 by Bradman
