    @MiketheSnow Dunno if you saw the Exeter game yesterday but your Wales skipper got red carded for a high tackle. Technically a correct decision but you have to feel for him, he went really low but the attacking player went even lower. I’d hope the red would be punishment enough.

    @MiketheSnow

    Yeah my mistake. Yellow it was. What was a bit odd though was that Jenkins' head on head was pretty solid albeit with the mitigation of him going really quite low. Hawkins was upright but to me there wasn't any clear head on head, as in actual contact. It looked to me that the big Bayonne guy just brushed him off.

    @MiketheSnow Is Plumtree injured or just not selected? I know that Gatland looked at him last year.

    The fact that he has not been playing for the woeful, but injury ravaged, Scarlets sort of indicates he must be injured. And so does this

    If he has been available before last week the fact that he has not been playing would mean he would be miles away from Wales selection.

    So we’ve lost Lawrence who was in great form and would have played outside Smith, Beard also injured. Martin and Lawrence massive losses given other options, not sure how long the latter will be out for

    That’s a real shame

    Lawrence was the form centre in the 6N

    I see that WR is now including the "other TMO" in their match official appointments. They are known as the Foul Play Review Official (FPRO). They are only listed closer to the date of the test.

    @Victor-Meldrew I'd be furious., What imbecile thought not telling prospective purchasers beforehand would be a good idea?

    Louis Lynagh, son of Michael, has passed on the opportunity to play for England or Auatralia at least for now, and has joined up with the Italian squad ahead of their game against France.

    @sparky Wasn't he dumped by England? He's not playing for Italy as a first choice ...

    @Tim He played for England at Under 16 and Under 18 and was called up by Eddie Jones for a training squad before the 2022 6 Nations. Then he injured his knee and was out for 9 months. He's leaving Harlequins at the end of the season for Benetton in Italy.

    He was born in Treviso so it's not a big surprise.

    He’s good, but not amazing.

    I thought he’d get a couple of games for England then fade out. Career for Italy probably more lucrative.

    Must hurt his old man a bit tho!!
