That keeper is a big unit.
He can hit a very big ball Eden Park will not be big enough if he gets going.
Never really got going

Why can't our bowlers bowl Yorkers instead of wide length balls?
Not much margin for error on Eden Park, where my 8 year old could even hit a straight 6
Yeah looks like the bowling plan even off pace deliveries are easier to hit straight than square.
Bowling in to the pitch pace on pace off harder hit to square brings the catchers in to play. -

Did I notice that he was unsurprisingly last or absent from the hand shake at the end too? Probably needed a bit of sustenance after all that energy expended.

This is a much bigger crowd than an ODI at Eden Park will pull these days
I remember the glory days of ODI cricket back in the late 90’s - early 00’s
In was in my late teens/early 20s, we’d pack the shitty little mazda familia full of lads and booze and off we went from Whangarei, to a sold out Eden Park one dayer, to watch Roger Twose belt the living shit out of some sorry bowling attack.
I even dragged the old man along once, when some unknown ginga by the name of Martin Guptill happened to open the batting and score a ton on debut.
Can’t remember if we won that game, but the fullas and I certainly won the day, as the old boy shouted 90% of the piss.
