They described Lara, Border and Gilchrist as the three best left handers ever assembled in one commentary box.

I’m assuming they didn’t watch Brian Lara bat in the Black Clash the other night

Windies battle out of trouble but now lose a couple.

    7 down now for 225.

Hodge and Da Silva get to the swinging new pink ball period. The fun time of night for the bowlers.

Tough on the keeper to call those byes.

Another reason to dislike Cummins ...

Hate how the pink ball, especially the new pink ball, goes nuts in the night session.

    But fuck it's fun ...

Windies seem to be countering the new ball by counter attacking.

    Am enjoying.

    261/7 currently

The fight back continues. The Windies have just gone past 300. That looked almost impossible at the end of the first session

Smith fails as an opener again
No surprise he is not an opening bat.

Can't wait to see Smith facing Southee and Henry on a nice green Basin pitch!

@booboo An element of the old days of uncovered pitches when strategic declarations and - maybe - not pressing too hard to mop up the tail when the wicket was at its juciest?
