Fozzie just had to breathe and the media and public (especially Cantabs) were out to get him.
Which was fair enough as his results were largely shit. If Robertson’s results continue like that we should expect the same response. Hopefully he wouldn’t get reappointed after one decent result as well (yes I know he has 4 years).
Next year is actually much more in our favour for a good year. France are sending a reduced strength squad and we have 3 tests against them, both SA games are in NZ, even the Ireland match is Chicago (yes we have a 100% loss record there but it should be easier than Dublin). No Japan or Fiji matches to pad percentages but realistically I think we should only lose one, at most two, otherwise I will be disappointed.

I do find it amusing, highlighted by Parsons and Hall on the ARP, that some commentators mention that the record could have been better but for the close loses, and fail to acknowledge the close wins (Eng x 3, Aust) that could have went the other way. Fine margins.
Glass half full guys
Mind you, everyone's gonna stand up for him when they made him out to be the best thing since sliced bread during the Fozzie reign.
Fozzie just had to breathe and the media and public (especially Cantabs) were out to get him.
Harsh generalisation. I welcomed him, as did a number of others. But he has not lived up to his promise so far, and deserves to be put on notice with a no holds barred end of season performance review
Yeah and guys like yourself have called him out on his shortcomings, unlike a lot of his followers who just defend everything he does because it's him.

One fucking guy prepared to just say what they think. Build a show for the Beaver.
Can we give Wilson, Kirwan etc the boot and re-name the Breakdown, 'the Breakdown with Beave?
Love that response from Beaver.

Who are these people? Happening in other places? I haven't noticed any unconditional defenders on here.

agreed, they are thin on the ground, most, like me, were excited...and now disappointed or at least weary about the future

Jack Goodhue? LF? Fuck why don't we get the shit Whitelocks and George Bridge back while we are at it? Can we also get Aaron Mauger out of retirement?
This would all be so laughable if it wasn't so disrespectful

I have not heard, read or seen any substance to overtures being made. That is a bit of a pie in the sky comment.
To be fair if you have watched any of LF s games for Toulon he has been very good although it has been at Centre. -

Brilliant defensive centre but yeah agree lack of pace counted against him especially after those knee injuries.

The two games away in Argentina will be a challenge. We do appear to have a more settled squad than last year, not that many departing other than Sam Cane and TJP. Sounds like Razor is pushing hard for the rules to change, sounds like overtures have been made to Jack Goodhue who has signed on to an extra year. RM and SF were initially who he secked to change the rule for, it appears they are coming back at some stage. LF return will be important as well, he left at a young age.
Goodhue surprises me if correct. I was a fan until it became obvious he was a tad too slow and then the injuries making things worse.

Yeah I think that is what will happen MF for the Crusaders.
As I Think Amua and Havilli or Ennor will move on after 2025. -
It's been a season marred by awful selections, a game plan that hasn't worked in at least 10 years, strong Crusader bias (type of thing you'd see in amateur teams not professional), anti-Blues bias despite them being the best team in Super, form players from other franchises like the Canes barely getting a look in, and now this wanking on about selecting overseas players continues. And the worst part about the overseas players request is that there is not a single player playing outside of NZ that is actually better than what we have here already. And worse still, it's centered around a player that could never properly make the step up to test footy after 60 odd caps!
At this stage I would be fine if NZR got rid of Razor over the summer and went out to market again to look for a coach with international experience that can get the best out of our players. It's very clear we do have the cattle to take back the No.1 spot, but we don't have the coaches.

I have been saying exactly that but the other way around. My glass is obviously half full.
