@gt12 LOL at comparing Blackadder to PSDT

The state of NZ rugby media - cripes.

    Jesus. I missed that.

The part about Paps is fucking laughable.

Is it perhaps likely that PSDT was running rampant as we only had 14 on the goddamn field? At the game, it was was incredibly noticeable how affected we were with one less loosie.

Two, if you count 'one tackle Fizzle'

@SBW1 he was given the opportunity. Didn’t want it. Said he couldn’t work with Razor.

    Do you know why?

I thought he was going to have a role as a selector, not unlike Grant Fox.

I did a quick 5 minute google search, can't find any article to reference that quotes Schmidt as saying he couldn't work with Razor. The only thing close (not at all close) was an opinion piece by Reason who just says it but fails to back it up

@canefan As I recall Joe didn't say that he refused to work with Razor, but rather that he was unwilling to have discussions about being part of any future coaching team while still part of Foster's team. Idk if this is one of Joe's general principles or was just bc he didn't want to lose his focus on the then upcoming RWC.

@canefan Yeah, some ppl are out here intentionally or unintentionally trying to create the impression that there is secret beef between Razor and Joe. But maybe some iffy journalism is in part to blame.

Really looking forward to this year.
Certainly going to be a change of scene.
Hope the TMOs get sorted out.
SA deserved the WC but the rules/ officials ruined the final. It needs working on.

@Punch_up It would be a silly move to let Joe go, he is largely responsible for turning around the fortunes of the All Blacks in 2022 and 2023, plus he also has a lot of intel on the All Blacks. If Razor doens't workout, surely he may need some backup.

@SBW1 Yup, 100% agree. NZR need to ask themselves if there's some sort of rule that they can only retain one experienced, innovative senior coach at a time. They could retain both Sir Wayne AND Joe, you know.

NZ Rugby is becoming a lot like Aus Cricket in that there was a prolonged period where they exported a lot of exprienced coaching talent followed by a period where less experienced coaches had to steer their national team. Not quite there yet, but...

    Joe will sort them out,
A strong Australian rugby scene is very vital to NZ rugby with out it SR,Rugby Championship and Bedisloe will just fade away and will become things that no one really cares about.

I thought he wanted to stay at home due to his son's medical issues?
