Remember the days when you could sometimes defend 180, and 220 was par, and anything over 250 you were favs?

Wild that we feel like we are in with a shot if we can keep them below 350

Our batsmen might be able to take our bowlers for 8 an over.

I think scoring at that rate off Bumrah, Shami and Jadeja will be a different kettle of fish.

And that is the difference miles apart in bowling ability.

The problem here is no plans to stop this momentum just bowl and hope it lands somewhere on a decent line and length.

Change the field bowl around the wkt wide of the crease bowl full and wide and set a stronger off side field .

    Good idea this

A new single-innings tournament where our bowlers bowl in every game. Maybe a night apart to give them some rest.

Other teams line up and take turns to face them for 50 overs of bash and glory

Whoever scores the most runs wins, nominees for semis or finals.

A tie is decided by lost wickets (ha ha, as if we will get any)

If tied after wins and wickets, the winner is decided by most boundaries (what, that seems fair doesn’t it??)

    Anyone with me?

We have bowlers way past their prime bowling on a road against a powerhouse Indian batting lineup who hasn't lost a game the whole Cup.

Sometimes you just have to take your medicine.

As I said earlier time to bin and re set and develop the bowling,

Taking your medicine fuck that try something to stop the momentum don’t just roll over like beaten dogs I can’t cop that shit .

They are repeating the same shit with the same fields, do something different.
Bowl full and wide of off stump take the leg side and straight boundaries out of play , put a cover sweeper in a deep Square leg a square leg and a cover and try to take the boundaries out of play.
Don’t just bowl the same shit with the same fields creating the same outcome.
Brainless just not thinking just hoping.

Santner is the only one thinking out there.

The impact of India Crickets new Special Advisor Rassie Erasmus could be seen in the semi final against NZ, when the 7th Indian batsman went down with cramp, requiring treatment from the miked-up medic

Does anyone like Virat other than Mrs Kohli?

    Except when they're playing Straya?

    I’m a big fan. Reckon he’s a class act.

About to bring up half a ton of tons

It's a bit ominous that Santner's just started to exert a bit of control in his last spell. Started to look harder to score off him.
