Accuweather: Paris: Periods of cloud and sun with a couple of showers, mainly early on

Biggest question is whether we can win the territorial game with our average kickers. Based on the last 2 games we can be more that competitive in the forwards.
Have to say these short up and unders give me the sh-ts. Some of Englands were shocking
-
Wayne Barnes with the whistle I guess?

Never mind win the kicking game, let's hope for parity.... We have a score to settle after the 1995 final and the Twickenham game, it's the old enemy and we know them better than anyone, along with the fact it's the swan song for Fozzie and a bunch of veteran ABs. Come on boys, let's fuck them up!

Fascinated how THEGENIUS manages his 10s this week.
I think Manie starts again. And the party line is the wet suited Pollard better, cause he is used to it, thats why he came on early.

@rustycruiser doubt it. Faf to start as well. Excuse - he knows how to win finals 😬

Well fuck a duck.
Well done Fozzie. You have exceeded our expectations and in four years you have got this team just right.
Win or lose, it’s a great achievement.
Fuck the naysayers
Yeah, fuck me. In fact I dare you to do that one more time!

Would rather have been playing England.
Playing SA in the Final is all going to be about the Scrums,Line outs and probably the winning of the game will be with the boot and the battle of the Air.
The kicking and the battle of the air is my main worry where we could falter. -
All the concerns about the Springboks scrum, the ABs handling has been superb the last two tests so if they can keep handling errors to a minimum, they should have a steady enough platform to play off.
If ever there is a time for the kicking to come right, it's next week. We have a real good shot at this. But since it has worked to date, Foster is shit and the ABs are going to get smoked. -
@Chris totally agree
Firstly on the official , it would not surprise me if Mathieu Raynal is given the final primarily because of political purposes
The long range weather forecast for Paris is not great so conditions could be very similar to what we saw this morning
My concern coming out of this morning was the impact from Springbok bench , it was out the gate especially the 2 props Ox Nche and Vincent Koch who very influentialThe question for the All Black coaches is , do we go for stronger scrummagers off the bench ..? Eg Tu’ungafasi and Laulala or do we stick with these young guns we don’t want to be in a similar position to England this morning
For me the other learnings from the game this morning was the kicking game of England especially in the last 20 minutes , it worked for the first 60 minutes but at 15-6 up they needed to kick long as opposed to high kicks ..
Hope we take some lessons from these tactics -

Mathieu Raynal i
Would probably suit the Boks and is inclined to do something radical which is a worry.
I would prefer Barnes he lets the game flow more.
Props are a question Nepo can be a penalty magnet and is not the best defender.
50/50 call for the reserves props I think.
Williams might be handy with some go forward in the last 20 minutes.
