RWC SF: All Blacks v Argentina

I think we are well placed , lots of little things like our defence, set piece etc the things we have been concerned about in recent years , seem to be falling into place .
Individually, all the players seem to be fit and in form as well .
Just the exits, kick chase, and cards to fix for the next one

@Machpants good things take time...4 years in fact...?

I’m not saying some Irish fans took last week’s beating badly but tweets like the below make me laugh.
I'm torn between doing laps in the sea of salty tears and acknowledging they're not wrong about Gardner's competency.
-
@antipodean The officials were appalling tonight, but I’m far from convinced that their incompetence favoured one particular side or had much influence on that result.

Oh no! The secret is out. The real reason the All Blacks have made five World Cup Finals is that we’re really, really good at cheating.
We’d have got away with it if it wasn’t for you pesky kids!
That's why we can't have nice things.
-
Predictable outcome. Good margin which reflects some individual brilliance (A Smith, Jordan) built off the back of the basics: set piece dominance and accuracy at the breakdown.
The question must be asked: Did Mo'unga look up to see an unmarked Jordan and say "fuck you bro - you've already got 3 tries!" because otherwise that was a try brutally murdered.

Great stuff.
Is that Jordie Barrett strapped to his leg?

@MN5 it’s a common theme from a Lot of neutrals on twitter some journalists and ex players who should know better
Schalk Burgers tweet surprised me
Funnily enough most of it out of Ireland and AfricaWhat did Burger say ?

set piece dominance
I will make a point about this with regard more to the officiating. I thought the ABs had the upper hand at scrum time, but also got some favourable decisions.
51:17 - EdG elbow pointing down, he overextends and hits the deck. ABs get the penalty for Argentina collapsing? No help from the touchie there I will say as it was obvious live, but Gardner was on the other side.
We've got to take important things into consideration here:

its scumming 101 to keep your elbow up to keep your shoulders square....elbow down = shoulder down = collapse
I know, right?
There was another scrum one of the props overextended and put a knee on the deck but I think it was play on, thankfully.
What do these things mean? Nothing for this result. Against South Africa though they'll need to tighten up.
Massive for Gardner as I think it will finish any chance he had at the final. Not accurate enough.
I'd also comment that Dalton was off the side of the scrum early, nearly every time he packed down.

@Machpants not too loud 🤫

Ref missed about half a dozen off the ball tackles by the Argies and did nothing about it, so we adapted and did it too. Was ridiculous how many times we had players taken out early on. Ref performance wasn't biased, he seemed more interested in keeping the game going. How about Jordan being taken out, if we'd done that, we'd have a 100% yellow. What does it take for us to get a favourable call in those circumstance, a beheading?
-
@MajorRage so who is your top 5 refs ..?
Because it just seems after every game there’s an issue with the on the day official -
@Steven-Harris he’s worried 😬. The Bok/AB rivalry is strong
-
Solid win.
Great to watch a game where the opposition don't run players in front of the ball.
Hungus Mo'unga better not do that in the final.
A Barrett getting a card, hopefully they've collectively got that out of their system now.
Had the 3 Aussie commentators, one of them is such a whiny bitch, so much so that the other two have to correct him multiple times when he says stupid things about the ABs.
