RWC QF: France v South Africa

@taniwharugby I’ll bet he has sensors in that scrum cap wired directly to the TMO booth 😂

When was the last time Faff was benched? Any way Le Roux is rocks and diamonds, and these days more rocks if under pressure.
This will be only the third time Cobus Reinach has started alongside Manie Libbok at half-back. Libbok has converted 55% of his kicks at goal at RWC 2023,

@stodders you'd think even a heavy chest hit is gonna send shudders through him...if it is a worry, he shouldn't be playing.
Aldritts quote was from a dumb question during the press conference. Implying the South Africans may target Dupont.

History says France wins this game and makes the final as their three previous RWC finals appearances were in 1987, 1999 and 2011 - every 12 years.
Where they lose to the ABs, as Oz are out already. Hopefully, history always repeats

Who wants France to win? Who is cheering for the Boks?
Frances totally. They've never won before, so if the abs don't win it, I hope they do. An exciting team to watch without the arse of a head coach
-
Think I want the French to win but happy to have another southern hemisphere team win as well. Just hoping it’s a classic quarterfinal to continue like the rest
-
Heart says France
Head days SABut I’m 0 for 3 this weekend

These two nations have the best national anthems.
Wales gets my vote

@kiwiinmelb In the top five for sure.

I'm supporting the referees... Ben O'Keeffe is up there at the moment with Barnes as the best in the world, and is performing the highest we have seen from a Kiwi official in quite some time. Don't want to count the chickens, but suspect he won't get a crack at the final this year, and you'd think it is unlikely in four years time. This is his final.
