Look how long it took to form that lineout, they in complete control, they have a plan from set piece, give yourself a short rest then implement the plan. Ireland basically dictate the pace, where the game is played and always on their terms.

I don't see how any team is going to stop Ireland from romping to the title.

AS much as I think we will struggle against Ireland - mainly with structure and discipline - I believe our defense has a lot more starch than the Scots are showing ....
Unfortunately - I sincerely believe a massive factor on the outcome of the IRE V AB quarter final will be the appointment of the officials ..... if they are permitted to slow the game to this sort of degree then the ABs simply don't have the game plan to compete

Agree - unbackable favourites, should be $1.05 at the TAB

I think South Africa is best equiped with their full front on brutality

The irony is, Ireland can the game well at pace, yet are awful time wasters.

Yes cos they are there ultimate team ATM. Against teams that want speed, they slow it down, against those that want slow, they'll speed it up. I've said from the beginning RWC favourites by a large margin

It’s almost as if Farrell designed his team to be the ultimate counter to unstructured play. If you don’t give the opposition any counter ball they have to try and get through your defence or force them into mistakes.

Another Foster first - we boycott the QF because we have absolutely no chance against the greatest 1st 5 ever. He’s better than Carter, Ella, Larkham

@ACT-Crusader His control skills are the best but to say he is Better than Carter on attack is a stretch.

Lol I don’t know who the commentator is but far out he’s fluffing Ireland. Sounds like they are the best team to ever play the game, the games already over etc.

I wouldn't put him ahead of Larkham either tbh - .. still one of the greats - but a very different player to peak Carter or Larkham ... more of a Wilkinson type of player -- but that may be my SH biases showing

No doubt they are a more complex side now under Farrell than they were under Schmidt

Scotland backs showing NZ how not to defend. Plus they just can’t create anything to save themselves.
